Terms of Service

These terms explain how you can use TalkMea ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use TalkMea.

1. What TalkMea does

TalkMea turns written text into spoken audio using AI text-to-speech. You can choose from 36 languages and 6 voice characters (woman, man, girl, boy, older woman, older man) and download the result as an audio file.

2. Your account

• You need an account to use TalkMea. You must give a real email address and keep your login details safe.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account.
• You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live.

3. Free trial

• New accounts get 30 seconds of free audio.
• You must confirm your email address before you can use the trial.
• The trial is one per person. To prevent abuse, we limit how many accounts can be created from the same internet connection in a 24-hour period.
• Creating multiple accounts to get extra free time is not allowed and may lead to those accounts being closed.

4. Plans and minute packs

• Monthly plans: Starter ($5/month, 100 minutes), Pro ($10/month, 300 minutes) and Business ($25/month, 1,000 minutes). Plans renew automatically every month until you cancel.
• Plan minutes reset each billing period. Unused plan minutes do not carry over.
• Minute packs: one-time purchases of 30 minutes ($3), 120 minutes ($10) or 300 minutes ($20). Pack minutes do not expire and are used only after your plan or trial minutes run out.
• Minutes are counted from the real length of each finished voiceover. Voiceovers that fail don't use any minutes.
• We may change prices in the future. Changes won't affect a billing period you've already paid for.

5. Payments

Payments are handled by Whop, a third-party payment provider. We never see or store your full card details. Your payment is also subject to Whop's Terms of Service.

6. Cancelling

• You can cancel your plan at any time from your Whop account (whop.com, under your memberships), or by emailing us at yassineamaiz3334@gmail.com.
• After you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. After that, you won't be charged again and your remaining plan minutes end.
• Minutes from packs you bought stay in your account even after you cancel a plan.

7. Refunds

• Because audio is generated instantly and costs us money to create, payments are generally non-refundable.
• We will consider a refund if you were charged by mistake (for example, a double charge), or if a technical problem on our side stopped you from using minutes you paid for. Requests should be made within 7 days of the charge.
• To ask for a refund, email yassineamaiz3334@gmail.com with your account email and the date of the payment.

8. Acceptable use

You may use your voiceovers commercially, as long as you follow the law and these rules. You must not use TalkMea to:

• Commit fraud or scams, including scam or robocalls.
• Impersonate a real person, or make it seem like someone said something they didn't.
• Harass, threaten or bully anyone.
• Create misleading or deceptive content, such as fake news or fake endorsements.
• Create content that is illegal, hateful, or breaks someone else's rights.
• Try to break, overload, or get around the limits of the service.

You are responsible for the text you submit and how you use the audio.

9. Suspending or closing accounts

We may suspend or close your account, without refund, if you break these terms, abuse the free trial, or use TalkMea in a way that could harm others or the service. Where reasonable, we'll tell you why.

10. Limitation of liability

TalkMea is provided "as is". We work to keep it reliable, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that the audio will fit every purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or lost-profit damages, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If changes are important, we'll let you know by email or on the site. Continuing to use TalkMea after changes means you accept them.
